Hi, I’m Cátia Regina, the creative force behind Regina Wedding Photographer.

With 20 years of experience in wedding photography and a deep-rooted passion for capturing love stories, I approach each wedding with the same enthusiasm and dedication as if it were my first.

I come from a family of wedding photographers, and my journey began early. As a teenager, I used to help my mother organize and number the film rolls used throughout each wedding day. I quickly became involved in the production side, guiding couples, assisting with composition, and soon after, taking photographs myself. In 2005, I enrolled in a three-year professional photography course to refine my craft and deepen my understanding of visual storytelling.

This rich legacy has given me a unique perspective and a deep commitment to excellence. Over the years, I’ve developed a style that blends cinematic artistry with photojournalistic authenticity, creating images that feel timeless, heartfelt, and visually striking. My goal is to craft photographs that evoke emotion, tell your story with honesty, and present it with a refined, aesthetic touch.

I’m also the founder of this brand, but I never work alone. I’m proud to be supported by a dedicated team who has been by my side for many years. They understand and share my vision, and together we’ve grown, elevating the experience we offer to each couple. I trust them completely, and their presence ensures that every wedding is approached with care, consistency, and creativity. A new team portrait will be shared soon as part of my brand’s upcoming visual rebranding.

Over the years, I’ve had the honor of working with some of Portugal’s most sought-after wedding planners and photographing at the finest venues in Lisbon and across the country. This experience allows me to guide my couples seamlessly through the entire process, ensuring every detail is beautifully and thoughtfully captured.
